Frequently Asked Questions
We take a very comprehensive approach to real estate. It is likely to be the single largest investment one will make so it's deserving of a thorough and critical evaluation process.
What makes your approach to real estate different?
We take a very analytical approach. A home is likely the single largest investment a person will ever make, so it deserves a thorough, critical evaluation rather than a quick pitch. That perspective is grounded in a background in finance and real estate at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, followed by years as a real estate investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers and Barclays and time at a real estate investment management firm covering the U.S. residential market. We bring that same rigor to every client.
I'm a first-time buyer and don't know where to begin. Can you help?
Absolutely — many of our clients are first-time buyers, and we know the feeling. The process starts by understanding your goals and walking through each step together. We're also happy to share our NYC Buyer's Guide to help you get oriented before you ever look at a single listing.
Do you work with properties at my price point?
Likely, yes. The transactions we've represented range widely — from roughly $1 million co-ops to multi-million-dollar single-family homes — across condos, co-ops, townhouses, and new development. Our focus is on serving the client well at every price point, not just at the top of the market.
Which areas do you serve?
Our primary focus is Manhattan and the Hamptons, with offices in New York City and Bridgehampton. We also work with clients in Florida, and as part of the Eklund | Gomes team at Douglas Elliman, we can connect clients to a broader network spanning multiple markets nationwide.
How do you determine the right price when selling my home?
Through data, not guesswork. We study recent comparable sales, current market conditions, and timing to position your property accurately — the same analytical process our sellers consistently point to. The goal is to price strategically to attract the right buyers and protect your bottom line.
Still Have Questions?
Some buildings are named. Olympia was christened. Rising along the DUMBO waterfront, its name summons the seat of the gods — and the tower wears the comparison without flinching.
In Part One of this conversation, Adam shares why Olympia's mystique begins with its mythology: a residence conceived as a place apart, elevated in every sense, where the everyday gives way to something closer to legend. It's a rare thing to find a building whose ambition is announced before you ever step inside, but Olympia sets that expectation from the name on the door and proceeds to honor it at every turn.
That mythology is matched by the architecture. Hill West's sail-like silhouette, full-width terraces framing the harbor and the Manhattan skyline, and an amenity program with few rivals in Brooklyn earned Olympia its title as Building of the Year and its standing as the borough's most coveted address.
From the indoor and outdoor pools to the tennis court, the fitness spaces, and the around-the-clock service, every detail was chosen to reward the people who live there daily — not simply to impress on a tour. Watch to hear how the legend and the residence become one, why the waterfront setting gives Olympia a vantage that can't be replicated, and why Adam sees this tower as a rare convergence of design, location, and enduring value.
